As the second quarter of 2024 comes to a close, we take a look at the performance of the leading fitness and weight loss applications on the Android platform in the US. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, presents an interesting landscape of user engagement and app popularity.

AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, starting the quarter at $1.14M and peaking at $2.18M in late May before settling at $1.07M by the end of June. Downloads for AllTrails showed a similar pattern, with an early April high of 1.04M, a dip to 688K in mid-June, and a rebound to 871K. Weekly active users started strong at 4.39M but saw a decrease towards the quarter's end, finishing at 3.75M.

For Step Counter - Pedometer, we observed nominal revenues with a peak of $25K in late May. The app's downloads began at 752K and saw a high of 1.08M in mid-May, but ended the quarter at a lower 639K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 2.86M and ending at 3.01M.

Stepler - Walk & Earn had no reported revenue but showed consistent download activity, beginning the quarter at 852K and reaching a high of 1.06M in early April. The app finished June with 580K downloads. Weekly active users were robust, starting at 8.41M, peaking at 9.03M in early June, and closing the quarter at 8.48M.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike showed strong revenue performance, starting at $2.96M and reaching a high of $4.90M in mid-June. Downloads for Strava were less volatile, with an initial 784K that slightly dipped to 617K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users for Strava were impressive, with a steady increase from 16.29M to 17.01M.

Lastly, Pedometer - Step Counter App also reported no revenue. The app saw a decline in downloads from 853K to 440K. Weekly active users started at 14.86M, dipped to a low of 12.94M in mid-June, and slightly recovered to 13.06M by the quarter's end.
